After proudly serving the Lowcountry for 4 years with my catering company "Nosh Boards Charleston", our family decided to go back to our rural roots and relocate from Charleston to Bishopville, SC . We've spent the past 6 months renovating our property and building the foundation for our own mini farm and homestead. And now...it's time for me to get back in the kitchen - where I can share the warmth of homemade treats and the comfort of fresh-baked goods, one delicious bite at a time.

Hi! I’m Melinda — baker, maker, and the hands behind nosh. After studying at the Culinary Institute of Charleston and spending years in catering and corporate kitchens, I realized what I love most, is creating food that feels personal — made with care, meant to be shared, and always a little bit special. I pour the same care and creativity into every batch of cookies and loaf of bread that that I brought to my years of catering and corporate work, just with a little more heart (and a lot more butter).

I take pride in keeping things simple — using quality ingredients, trusting the process, and paying attention to the little details. Every step is taken with care and intention. I focus on getting the basics right, letting the natural flavors shine, and making sure each item that leaves the kitchen reflects the care and craftsmanship that went into it. I also take the same care in serving my customers, making sure their experience is as thoughtful and enjoyable as the food itself.
